Project: Chalet Chenus

Location: Courchevel

The apartment had fine light maplewood paneling throughout, which although of high quality, made it feel like a suite of 1970’s boardrooms. We proposed to the owner that it would be possible to re-plan & refurbish just the parts of the apartment that were not working, mainly the kitchen & bathrooms. The new interventions would be darker to contrast with and ‘warm’ the remaining maple paneled areas.
